SEU's New Social Media Tool

Technology has stricken St. Edward's University by force this past year. With the creation of Web. 2.0 many organizations such as St. Eds have mastered the skills of using social media tools towards their advantage. St. Ed's Student Life is no exception and has recently created a website to approve event approvals. Student Life is now requiring to process any event approval forms through a new web powered by CollegiateLink. This website is a savvy and efficient site that easily lets you fill out an event approval form and lets you register your organization's events. In addition to this, the Student Life's website also lets you look at other upcoming events and other people's status to monitor each others events.
To obtain access to this page you must first create an account for your organization. After creating an account you have the option to add any of your organization's officers to acquire access to the site. The website is full of insightful surprises for it has a home page that has a virtual bulletin that consists of future events from other organizations. The website also has short tag lines that describes any of the other organization's events, memos, or thoughts.

I believe that this is an awesome website that couldn't of been created any better. This website makes it easier for students to obtain access of other events, organizations and their event approvals. This new website is a savvy tool that will help connect St. Edward's organizations as a whole.

I thnk that it is really great that St. Edwards is embracing technology even further. I am always impressed when organizations care what the people they serve need and want. Go St. Ed's! I love you :D

You should also see their presence on other social media sites. Apparently the career planning office has a presence on Linkedin. Kinda nice to have them support and offer info on sites like these.
